I had no idea when I conceived the idea of writing a book on the history of Lewes Racecourse, that a mere six months after publication it would be going into its THIRD print run!!  I am very heartened that there is so much interest in the old place and indeed, in matters related to horses.  Superb.

Lewes Racecourse | A Legacy Lost? has made a flying start.  We are delighted to announce that after just a month the book has gone into its second print run. Feedback has been excellent with encouraging comments such as "Thank you, long, long overdue", "A model for a racecourse history", "It told me things about Lewes I had no idea about, thank you", "It is wonderful that at last the story of racing at Lewes has been properly recorded", "I was pleased that the book has been written in a way that engages the non-racing reader with the lives of racing people and the horses", "excellent" ... and so on.
